There Is More to Life Than What Has Happened to You

Have you ever felt like everything was falling apart, and you were left standing in the silence, wondering what’s left?

I know that place.
I’ve lived in it...
And if you're in it now, I want to offer something that helped me shift out of it.
Love, luck, opportunities, abundance — they’re all around us.
But when we’re in pain, it’s so easy to miss them.
We become consumed with what went wrong, what we lost, or what could go wrong next. It’s human.
It’s tender. I’ve been there too.
There was a time I felt like I had lost everything, especially my close family. It brought a deep sadness, and for a while, I believed I was truly alone.
But slowly, gently, I started to challenge that story.
"Was I really alone?"
"Or was there another kind of family, one chosen by the soul, not just by blood?"
Over time, I began to notice the quiet love all around me. Friends who stayed. Souls who truly saw me. But even more than that, I began to remember a deeper truth:
I came into this life as a soul: whole, guided, and not by accident. I chose this path. I chose the family I was born into —not for comfort, but for growth. For the lessons my soul needed.
And in that realization, I found peace. Because I began to feel the connection not just with people, but with something greater: God, angels, life itself, or that quiet inner knowing that never left me.
That’s when I understood: I was never truly alone.
I just needed to remember who I really am.
Disconnection isn’t caused by what’s happening outside of us. It starts when we forget who we truly are inside.
And healing begins the moment we choose to see what’s still beautiful.
Every hardship carries an invitation.
Every low point whispers its own kind of wisdom.
Even what we didn’t choose can shape us in ways that bring us home to ourselves.
So if you're in a dark place, I invite you to ask:
Is the story I’m telling myself really true?
Or is there another, softer truth, one that carries light and love?
You are not broken. You are becoming.
There is more to life than what has happened to you.
And there is so much more waiting for you.
Please don’t give up on yourself.
You're not alone.
You're transforming!
Want to reflect more deeply?
Here’s a gentle prompt:
What new story is waiting to be told through this season of my life?
I'd love to hear your reflections,
feel free to share in the comments or message me privately if this spoke to your heart.
With love,🕊️
